Walter Potaznick, O.D., FAAO

Dr. Walter Potaznick is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry with over 37 years of experience in all aspects of Clinical Optometry. He received his undergraduate training at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (BS Mathematics 1971) and his Optometric training at the Mass College of Optometry (1976). He completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in 1977.

Dr. Potaznick has achieved the rank of Associate Professor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry, having served as a clinical attending optometrist at many sites, as well as the director of teaching programs at numerous clinic and hospital based sites, most notably serving for twenty years as Director of Eye Care Services at the South Boston Community Health Center, an outpatient full service facility credentialed through the Boston Medical Center.
