Proper fitting of eyewear for children is extremely important to their visual acuity. Frames need to fit properly not only for comfort, but also for safety. Children are often very active and need a pair of glasses that accommodates this lifestyle, instead of inhibiting it. We have 18 years of experience with fitting children’s eyewear. All prescriptions are filled with safety polycarbonate lenses for your child’s utmost safety.

Regular prescription eyeglasses do not provide adequate protection during high impact activity, such as sports. Not only can the frame itself cause an injury, the lens could pop out and break, resulting in a puncture or cut to the face or eye. Sports Goggles are designed to prevent such occurrences, but do not lack in the visual acuity that is necessary during these activities.
